GENTLITE SOLAR LANTERN SALES HI T 200 MARK IN 3 MONTHS
We have sold nearly 200 Gentlite solar lanterns and accessories including a mobile phone charger. So far the performance of the lantern has been very good according to the customers. But we have some challenges: July, August and September are months with low levels of solar radiation and some customers have not been able to get enough sunlight to charge their lanterns. Other customers who live on the campus do not get sunlight at all because their houses are ensconced in groves and the canopy blocks out all the sunlight. On the other hand the trees keep the houses cool and might save energy on ventilation fans and air conditioners; this is a problem for economics.   

CHEAP, HIGH PERFORMANCE KYOCERA SOLAR MODULES NOW AVAILABLE
In spite of their age, we now have in stock very good performing Kyocera solar modules. The 50 pW module is priced at GH 240 as against a brand new module costing GH 375. We also have 45 pW modules priced at GH 190 which are real bargains. Why are they so cheap? The modules were installed at repeater stations in northern Ghana in the late 80’s and mid 90’s but the telecom company recently decided to decommission them less than half way though their rated life. We have tested the modules and their performance is as good as new with marginal decrease in power output. We offer ten year warranty on these modules and will replace them if they fail to deliver up to 80% rated power. The modules are available in our office and you are welcome to inspect and carry them away. We have also integrated them into affordable solar home systems including DC colour television with LCD screen and low power, high efficiency LED lamps; the resulting prices are amazing, nothing like you’ve heard in this country before. The systems can be used for commercial mobile phone charging  that will pay back in one year and continue delivering benefits for more than ten years, water pumping  etc. You may request quotation online or visit us and see with your own eyes.

STOCK 10 A AND 20 A SOLAR CONTROLLERS AND LED BULBS
We have also imported high quality Solar Charge Controllers suitable for 10 A and 20 A loads as well as low power LED bulbs. The bulbs consume no more than (1) watt but deliver high lumens. Now you can light your whole house with only a 50pW module and relatively small storage battery; the prices of our solar systems are transforming the market and making solar energy accessible to all.
